इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब मन में कोई दोष (जैसे राग, द्वेष आदि) उपस्थित होता है, तब रूप आदि विषय (दृश्य आदि) संकल्प के द्वारा निर्मित होते हैं। अर्थात्, दोष के कारण मन में जो कल्पना उत्पन्न होती है, वही विषयों के रूप में प्रकट होती है।
English
This sūtra states that when there is a defect (such as attachment or aversion) present in the mind, objects like forms and so on are produced by imagination. That is, due to the presence of a defect, mental constructions arise, and these imagined constructions appear as objects of cognition.
