प्रीतेरात्माश्रयत्वादप्रतिषेधः

Translation/Explanation

इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि चूँकि प्रीति (स्नेह) का आश्रय आत्मा है, इसलिए उसका निषेध नहीं किया जा सकता। अर्थात्, आत्मा में स्थित होने के कारण प्रीति का निषेध संभव नहीं है; यह आत्मा का स्वाभाविक गुण है।

This sūtra states that since affection is grounded in the self, its negation is not possible. In other words, because affection has the self as its locus, it cannot be denied; it is an inherent quality of the self.
