Commentary (टीका)
This sloka delves into the nature of a deluded mind. It describes how immersed in *mahāmoha* (immense ignorance), the mind loses its grip on self-awareness and clarity. Constantly fluctuating among various states of consciousness (*nānāvasthāṁ*), it moves erratically on a repulsive path (*kutsita-gatiḥ*), much like sinking and floating in an endless ocean of worldly existence (*apāre saṁsare*), filled with the poison of sensory indulgences (*viṣaya-viṣa*). The imagery of submerging and emerging highlights the cyclical nature of delusion, emphasizing the importance of achieving spiritual insight to overcome this cycle.
