इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि धारण (संबल देना या स्थिर रखना) और आकर्षण (खींचना) – इन दोनों की तर्कसंगत उपपत्ति या प्रमाण द्वारा सिद्धि संभव है। अर्थात्, इन दोनों गुणों का अस्तित्व तर्क और प्रमाण के आधार पर स्वीकार किया जाता है।
