यदि किसी वस्तु में केवल एक धर्म (गुण) की सिद्धि मानी जाए, तो उसमें भेद का अभाव (अविशेष) हो जाएगा, जिससे सभी वस्तुओं में भेदाभाव की अनिवार्यता उत्पन्न हो जाएगी। इसी प्रकार, यदि केवल अस्तित्व की सिद्धि को ही पर्याप्त माना जाए, तो वह भी भेदाभाव के समान ही होगा। इस प्रकार, केवल एक धर्म या केवल अस्तित्व के आधार पर भेद स्थापित नहीं किया जा सकता।

If the establishment of only a single attribute in an entity is accepted, it leads to non-differentiation, resulting in the unavoidable consequence that all entities would lack distinction. Similarly, if mere existence is considered sufficient for establishment, it too would be equivalent to non-differentiation. Thus, differentiation cannot be established solely on the basis of a single attribute or mere existence.
