The actions of one who is devoid of attachment, who is liberated and whose mind is established in knowledge, are performed as a sacrifice (yajñāya) and dissolve completely. For such a person, actions are not binding; they melt away as they are done without attachment and with a spirit of sacrifice.

Commentary:
In this verse, we explore the nature of actions performed by a *yogin* who is unattached (*gata-saṅga*) and fully liberated (*mukta*), with their mind firmly rooted in knowledge (*jñāna-avasthita-cetas*). Such individuals conduct their actions as acts of sacrifice (*yajña*), carrying them out without any personal gain or desire. The *yajña* here symbolizes actions offered to the Supreme, characterized by selflessness. 

When actions are performed in this manner, they dissolve, leaving no residue or bond. The karmic chain, driven by attachment and ego, no longer binds a person with this understanding. Thus, these actions, though performed outwardly, bear no fruits of bondage due to the absence of selfish motives. The heart of this teaching aligns with *karma-yoga*, advising an approach to action focused on duty and surrender rather than ego and results. The *sloka* implicitly guides individuals on how to escape the cycle of desire and bondage through knowledge and selfless action. 

Swami Ramsukhdas elaborates further, indicating that the primary lesson in this *sloka* is the dissolving nature of actions when performed without attachment or desire for results. The detachment in karma leads to liberation, emphasizing *karmayoga* as the methodology for achieving freedom and establishing oneself in the eternal, self-realized state.
