न प्रवृत्तिः प्रतिसन्धानाय हीनक्लेशस्य

इस सूत्र का तात्पर्य है कि जिस व्यक्ति में क्लेश या दुःख बहुत कम है, उसमें पुनःस्मरण या प्रतिसन्धान के लिए प्रवृत्ति उत्पन्न नहीं होती। अर्थात्, जब क्लेश न्यून होता है, तो पुनः किसी विषय को जोड़ने या स्मरण करने की प्रवृत्ति नहीं रहती।

English

The meaning of this sūtra is that in one whose affliction or suffering is minimal, there is no engagement or activity directed towards recollection or re-connection. That is, when suffering is little, the impulse to re-establish or remember something does not arise.
