बाधनाऽनिवृत्तेवेदयतः पर्येषणदोषादप्रतिषेधः

जब किसी वस्तु की अनिवृत्ति (अर्थात् उसका न हटना) ज्ञाता द्वारा जानी जाती है, और यदि अन्वेषण (परीक्षण) में कोई दोष है, तो निषेध या खंडन नहीं हो पाता। अर्थात्, यदि किसी बात के न हटने का ज्ञान हो और खोज में त्रुटि हो, तो उसका निषेध सिद्ध नहीं हो सकता।

When the non-cessation of something is apprehended by the knower, and there is a defect in the process of investigation, then negation or contradiction does not occur. That is, if the persistence of something is known and the investigation is faulty, its negation cannot be established.
