सर्व नित्यं पञ्चभूतनित्यत्वात्

इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि सभी वस्तुएँ नित्य हैं, क्योंकि पाँच महाभूत (पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु, आकाश) नित्य माने जाते हैं। चूँकि सभी वस्तुएँ इन्हीं महाभूतों से बनी हैं और महाभूत शाश्वत हैं, अतः सम्पूर्ण जगत भी नित्य है – ऐसा तर्क प्रस्तुत किया गया है।

This sūtra states that all entities are eternal, because the five great elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) are considered eternal. Since everything is composed of these elements and the elements themselves are eternal, it is inferred that the entire world is also eternal—this is the reasoning presented here.
