इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जैसे स्थूल रूप (मूर्त्ति) के लिए पंचमहाभूत (पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु, आकाश) उपादान कारण होते हैं, वैसे ही अन्य वस्तुओं के लिए भी उनका उपादान कारण होता है। अर्थात्, स्थूल वस्तुओं की उत्पत्ति का आधार पंचमहाभूत हैं।

This sūtra states that, just as the five great elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) serve as the material cause for gross forms, so too do they act as the source for other entities.
