नः रूपादीनामितरेतरवैधर्म्यात्

यह सूत्र बताता है कि आत्मा और रूप आदि इंद्रियगोचर गुणों के बीच परस्पर भिन्नता है। आत्मा के स्वरूप और उसके गुणों में भेद है; इसलिए आत्मा, रूप आदि गुणों में प्रतिष्ठित नहीं मानी जाती। इस प्रकार, आत्मा और उसके गुणों का स्वभाव अलग-अलग है।

English

This sūtra explains that there is a mutual difference between the self and perceptible qualities like form. The nature of the self is distinct from the qualities such as form, and thus, the self is not considered to be established in those qualities. Therefore, the self and its qualities are ontologically separate.
