इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब बिजली चमकती है, उस समय रूप आदि गुणों का ग्रहण उसी प्रकार होता है जैसे अप्रकट (जो प्रत्यक्ष नहीं है) का ग्रहण होता है। इसका कारण यह है कि बिजली की स्थिति स्थिर नहीं होती, वह क्षणिक होती है, जिससे इन्द्रियगम्य वस्तुएँ भी स्पष्ट रूप से ग्रहण नहीं हो पातीं। अतः विद्युत्सम्पात के समय रूप आदि का ग्रहण अनवस्थायित्व (स्थिरता के अभाव) के कारण अप्रकट के ग्रहण के समान होता है।
English
This sūtra states that at the moment of a lightning flash, the apprehension of qualities like form occurs in a manner similar to the apprehension of the unmanifest, because the lightning is not stable and remains only momentarily. Due to this lack of stability, even perceptible qualities are not clearly apprehended, and thus, during the conjunction of lightning, the apprehension of form, etc., is like the apprehension of the unmanifest.
