इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि किसी वस्तु का एक साथ (युगपद्) ग्रहण (ज्ञान) संभव नहीं है, क्योंकि ग्रहण (ज्ञान) की प्रक्रिया के कारण ऐसा निषेध (न) किया गया है। अर्थात्, एक ही समय में अनेक वस्तुओं का ज्ञान नहीं हो सकता, यह न्याय के सिद्धांत के अनुसार असंभव है।

This sūtra states that simultaneous apprehension is not possible, because the process of cognition itself negates such simultaneity. In other words, according to the Nyāya system, it is not possible to apprehend multiple objects at the exact same moment, as the act of cognition inherently prevents this.
