इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब किसी तत्त्व में इच्छा या द्वेष का चिह्न पाया जाता है, तो पृथ्वी आदि तत्त्वों में इनका निषेध नहीं किया जाता। अर्थात्, पृथ्वी आदि तत्त्वों में भी इच्छा और द्वेष की संभावना स्वीकार की जाती है, क्योंकि उनके तल्ल्ङ्गित्व (विशेष चिह्न) के कारण उनका निषेध नहीं होता।
English
This sūtra states that when a characteristic mark of desire or aversion is observed, there is no prohibition of their presence in earth and other elements. In other words, the possibility of desire and aversion is accepted in earth and similar elements, because their markedness by such characteristics means their exclusion cannot be established.
