इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि गम्भीर ध्यान, संकेत, नाम, ज्ञान आदि का स्मरण एक साथ नहीं हो सकता, क्योंकि इनकी उत्पत्ति एक ही समय में नहीं होती। अर्थात्, जब हम किसी वस्तु का स्मरण करते हैं, तो उसके विभिन्न पक्ष (जैसे नाम, संकेत, ज्ञान) एक साथ नहीं, बल्कि क्रमशः स्मृत होते हैं। इसका कारण यह है कि इन सबका एक ही समय पर अस्तित्व नहीं होता।
English
This sūtra states that the recollection of deep contemplation, indicator, name, knowledge, and similar factors does not occur simultaneously, because their arising does not happen at the same time. That is, when we remember an object, its various aspects (such as name, indicator, knowledge) are recalled successively, not all at once. The reason is that these do not exist together at the same moment.
