इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि किसी वस्तु के पहले के गुण की श्रेष्ठता के कारण वही वस्तु उस गुण के संदर्भ में मुख्य या प्रधान मानी जाती है। अर्थात्, जब-जब किसी गुण में उत्कृष्टता होती है, तब-तब वही वस्तु उस गुण के अनुसार प्रधान हो जाती है।

This sūtra states that due to the superiority of a prior attribute, the respective entity becomes predominant in relation to that attribute. In other words, whenever there is excellence in a particular attribute, that entity is considered principal or chief with respect to that attribute.
