अप्तेजोवायूनां पूर्वपूर्वम पोह्याकाशस्योत्तरः

यह सूत्र बताता है कि प्रमाणिक व्यक्ति (अप्त) और अग्नि तथा वायु के तत्वों से पूर्व के तत्वों को अलग करना चाहिए, क्योंकि आकाश (आकाश तत्त्व) अग्नि और वायु के बाद आता है। अर्थात्, तत्वों की उत्पत्ति के क्रम में आकाश का स्थान अग्नि और वायु के बाद है।

This sūtra explains that the trustworthy person (apta) and the elements prior to fire and air should be excluded, as ether (ākāśa) comes after fire and air. In other words, in the order of the origination of elements, ether is subsequent to fire and air.
