तदभावः, सात्मकप्रदाहेऽपि तन्नित्यत्वात्

Translation/Explanation

इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि आत्मा के साथ शरीर के जलने पर भी आत्मा का अभाव नहीं होता, क्योंकि आत्मा नित्य है। अर्थात, आत्मा का कभी नाश नहीं होता, उसका अस्तित्व सदा बना रहता है, चाहे शरीर का दाह हो जाए।

English

This sūtra states that even when the body is burned along with the self, the non-existence of the self does not occur, because the self is eternal. In other words, the self is never destroyed; its existence remains perpetual, regardless of the burning of the body.
