इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि परस्पर विरोध या निषेध के कारण, केवल त्वचा (इंद्रिय का एक भाग) ही नहीं मानी जा सकती। अर्थात्, जब दो विकल्पों में परस्पर विरोध होता है, तो केवल त्वचा को इंद्रिय मानना तर्कसंगत नहीं है; अन्य तत्वों का भी समावेश आवश्यक है।

This sūtra states that due to mutual contradiction, the sense organ cannot be considered as only the skin. That is, when there is mutual exclusion between alternatives, it is not reasonable to accept only the skin as the sense organ; inclusion of other components is also necessary.
