इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब किसी वस्तु के स्वभावगत गुण का अस्तित्व होता है, तो उस वस्तु का निषेध नहीं किया जा सकता। अर्थात्, किसी वस्तु के गुणों की विद्यमानता के कारण उसका निषेध असंभव हो जाता है। यह न्यायशास्त्र में वस्तु के अस्तित्व के प्रमाण के रूप में गुणों की उपस्थिति को स्वीकार करता है।

English

This sūtra states that when the intrinsic quality of an entity exists, its negation is not possible. In other words, the presence of the qualities belonging to a thing prevents its denial. In the context of Nyāya philosophy, the existence of an entity is affirmed by the presence of its attributes, and thus, its negation is precluded.
