इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि 'अभाव' (अस्तित्व का न होना) को प्रमाण (ज्ञान का साधन) नहीं माना जा सकता, क्योंकि प्रमेय (जानने योग्य वस्तु) की असिद्धि (सिद्ध न होना) के कारण उसकी प्रमाणता स्थापित नहीं होती। अर्थात्, जब तक जानने योग्य वस्तु का अस्तित्व प्रमाणित नहीं होता, तब तक उसके अभाव को प्रमाण के रूप में स्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता।
English
This sūtra states that the non-existence (abhāva) cannot be accepted as a valid means of knowledge, because the object of knowledge (prameya) is not established in such a case. In other words, unless the knowable object is proven to exist, its absence cannot be considered a valid source of knowledge. Thus, the validity of non-existence as a means of knowledge is denied due to the unproven status of the object.
