इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब किसी विषय में निश्चितता और अनिश्चितता में विरोध होता है, तब अनिश्चितता की स्थिति में निश्चितता से निषेध नहीं होता, अर्थात् अनिश्चितता का निषेध नहीं होता। इसलिए, जहाँ निश्चितता का विरोध है, वहाँ अनिश्चितता का निषेध नहीं किया जा सकता।

English

This sūtra states that when there is a contradiction between determinacy (necessity) and non-determinacy, in the absence of determinacy, non-determinacy is not negated. That is, non-determinacy cannot be denied where there is opposition to determinacy. Thus, non-negation of non-determinacy is established in such cases.
