इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि परिवर्तन के जो गुण हैं, वे यहाँ लागू नहीं होते, क्योंकि उनकी तर्कसंगतता सिद्ध नहीं होती। अर्थात्, जिस वस्तु या विषय की चर्चा हो रही है, उसमें विकार के लक्षण नहीं पाए जाते, इसलिए उसका निषेध किया गया है।
