इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब किसी वस्तु में स्पर्श का अभाव होता है, तब उसका निषेध या रोक संभव नहीं होती। अर्थात्, जो वस्तु छूने योग्य नहीं है, उसकी अनुपस्थिति या निषेध भी नहीं किया जा सकता। यह न्यायशास्त्र में विशेष रूप से आकाश (आकाश तत्व) के संदर्भ में आता है, जो स्पर्श से रहित है, इसलिए उसका निषेध नहीं किया जा सकता।

English

This sūtra states that when there is an absence of touchability in an entity, its negation or prohibition is not possible. In other words, that which cannot be contacted or touched cannot be denied or negated. This is particularly relevant in Nyāya philosophy regarding ākāśa (space/ether), which lacks touchability, and thus its negation is not feasible.
