इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि यदि कर्म (कार्य), कर्ता (कर्ता) या साधन (उपकरण) में कोई दोष या अपूर्णता हो, तो उससे कार्य का निष्पादन नहीं होता। अर्थात्, दोष के कारण न तो कार्य होता है, न कर्ता कार्य कर सकता है और न ही साधन से कार्य सिद्ध होता है। यहाँ निषेध के माध्यम से कार्य-कारण संबंध में दोष के प्रभाव को स्पष्ट किया गया है।

English

This sūtra states that due to defect or imperfection in the action, agent, or instrument, the intended action does not take place. That is, if there is any deficiency in the action, the doer, or the means, the accomplishment of the action is prevented. The sūtra uses negation to clarify the influence of defect in the causal relationship of action.
