इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि विश्वसनीय व्यक्ति के उपदेश की शक्ति के कारण शब्द (वाणी) से अर्थ का निश्चित ज्ञान होता है। अर्थात, जब कोई योग्य और विश्वसनीय व्यक्ति कुछ कहता है, तो उसके शब्दों के आधार पर अर्थ का सही ज्ञान प्राप्त होता है।

This sūtra states that due to the authority of instruction from a trustworthy person, knowledge of meaning is obtained from verbal testimony. In other words, when a reliable and competent person communicates something, the meaning conveyed by their words is rightly ascertained.
