इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि भूत (अतीत) और भविष्य (अनागत) के बीच परस्पर-आश्रय या एक-दूसरे पर निर्भरता की सिद्धि नहीं होती। अर्थात्, अतीत और भविष्य की अवधारणाएँ एक-दूसरे पर आधारित नहीं हैं; उनकी स्थापना परस्पर निर्भरता से नहीं होती।

This sūtra states that the establishment of mutual dependence between the past and the future is not possible. In other words, the concepts of past and future are not founded upon each other; their existence is not established through mutual dependence.
