तयोरप्यभावो वर्तमानाभावे तदपेक्षत्वात्

यह सूत्र बताता है कि पूर्व और परवर्त्य अभाव (दोनों प्रकार के अभाव) भी तभी संभव हैं जब वर्तमान वस्तु का अभाव हो। अर्थात्, जब तक कोई वस्तु वर्तमान में विद्यमान है, तब तक उसके अभाव की कोई कल्पना नहीं की जा सकती। इस प्रकार, अभाव की अवधारणा वर्तमान के अभाव पर निर्भर करती है।

English

This sūtra explains that both prior and posterior non-existence are possible only when the present object is absent. In other words, as long as an object exists in the present, its non-existence cannot be conceived. Thus, the concept of non-existence is dependent on the absence of the present.
