नैकदेशत्राससादृश्येभ्याऽर्थान्तरभावात्

इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि किसी वस्तु के एक भाग से उत्पन्न भय केवल उस वस्तु के समानता के कारण ही संभव है, न कि जब वह वस्तु किसी अन्य अर्थ या भिन्नता के कारण अलग हो। अर्थात्, जब दो वस्तुएँ वास्तव में भिन्न हैं, तो केवल समानता के कारण उनमें से एक के प्रति जो भय है, वह दूसरी के प्रति नहीं उत्पन्न होता।

English

This sūtra states that fear arising from a part of something is possible only due to its similarity with another, not when there is a difference of entity. In other words, when two things are truly different in essence, fear associated with one due to similarity does not arise with respect to the other when there is real difference between them.
