पश्चात् सिद्धौ न प्रमाणेभ्यः प्रमेयसिद्धिः

इस सूत्र का तात्पर्य है कि जब कोई वस्तु पहले ही प्रमाणित या सिद्ध हो चुकी है, तब प्रमाणों के माध्यम से उसकी सिद्धि नहीं होती। अर्थात्, प्रमाण (ज्ञान के साधन) केवल तब तक उपयोगी हैं जब तक प्रमेय (जानने योग्य वस्तु) अप्रमाणित है; एक बार सिद्ध हो जाने के बाद, प्रमाणों का कार्य समाप्त हो जाता है।
English
The meaning of this sūtra is that once an object of knowledge has already been established or proven, its establishment does not arise again from the means of valid knowledge. In other words, pramāṇas (means of knowledge) are only effective until the knowable object is unestablished; once it is established, the role of pramāṇas ceases.
