Commentary (टीका)
This verse elucidates the nature of the dream state, describing how in dreams, individuality persists in a form where only the self remains. The intellect, influenced by various *vāsanās* or impressions collected over different times, is consciously active within this space. Here, the reference to *buddhi* and its ability to remain aware demonstrates the play of consciousness transcending ordinary physical reality, offering insight into how deeper desires and subconscious impressions influence dream experiences.
