Commentary (टीका)

This sloka emphasizes the process of spiritual realization. It advocates the stages of listening (*śruti*), reflecting (*manana*), and meditating (*dhyāna*), which, when practiced consistently by a sage, leads to the supreme state beyond duality (*avikalpa*). The term *nirvāṇa* signifies a state of liberation and bliss, indicating that such realization and peace are achievable in this very life. The verse underscores the importance of continuous and sincere practice in the path of self-realization, guiding the aspirant from intellectual understanding to transformative experience.
