Commentary (टीका)
In this verse, the poet likens the human experience to wood being carried by a stream. The wood, which has no control over its journey, is subject to the forces of the stream, much like the human body is subject to the forces of fate, driven through diverse life experiences by time. Here, *daiva* or fate is emphasized as a guiding force that governs our lives, just as water carves its path through the landscape, directing and situating entities in their respective places regardless of high or low. The philosophical underpinning invites contemplation on the limited control humans have over their destiny, highlighting the surrender to destiny's flow and the inherent acceptance of life's vicissitudes.
