Commentary (टीका)

This verse highlights the nature of the self-realized being, or *ātma-vettā*. Such a person is likened to a child, one who is not overtly attached to external worldly matters. The body, noted here as a *vimāna* or vehicle, is simply a medium for experiencing life without attachment. The idea of acting as per another's will or *parecchayā* indicates that the actions of a self-realized soul are in harmony with cosmic will, untainted by personal desires. The term *avakta-liṅga* characterizes their unmanifest, undefined nature, signifying they are beyond ordinary worldly attributes and distinctions. This verse encapsulates the balance between engagement in the world and the internal realization of detachment.
