Commentary (टीका)
This verse eulogizes the boundless grace and glory imparted by the Guru, described as the source of both self-sovereignty (*svārājya*) and imperial splendor (*sāmrājya-vibhūti*). The speaker acknowledges that any personal attainment or grandeur is not due to their own merits, but a result of the Guru’s benevolence (*prasāda*). The sloka expresses deep reverence through repeated salutations, indicative of the humility and gratitude felt towards the Guru, who is seen as a conduit for spiritual and material elevation. In the Vedantic tradition, the Guru is highly revered as one who dispels ignorance and leads the seeker to the ultimate truth. The use of terms like *kṛpā*, *śrī*, and *mahimā* underscores the divine qualities attributed to the Guru.
