āropitaṁ na āśraya-dūṣakaṁ bhavet kadāpi mūḍhair ati-doṣa-dūṣitaiḥ | nārdri-karoti ūṣara-bhūmi-bhāgaṁ marīcikā-vāri mahāpravāhaḥ || 498 ||
Translation (अनुवाद)
An illusion of a vast stream never moistens a barren land; similarly, something imposed is never tainted by the faults of the deluded.
