Commentary (टीका)

This verse highlights the concept of universal oneness and self-awareness in *Vedanta* philosophy. The speaker, representing the highest self or consciousness, observes that he alone pervades all beings, providing support both within and without as jñānātman (knowledge self). He is both the enjoyer and the enjoyed, merging the dualities of experience into a unified reality. The separation perceived earlier as 'this' or as differentiated entities is recognized as the manifestation of the same self. This realization points toward the non-dual nature of existence, where individual identities dissolve into the one universal consciousness, reinforcing the doctrine of Advaita or non-duality.
