Commentary (टीका)
This sloka emphasizes the importance of self-inquiry and awareness. The seeker is encouraged to reflect deeply on the paratattva or supreme truth of the ātman, which is described as ānandaghanam or the essence of bliss. By recognizing this inherent nature and dispelling the moha, or delusion, constructed by the mind, one achieves mukti, or liberation. The aim is to become prabuddha, meaning fully awakened, and kṛtārtha, meaning fulfilled in the realization of one's true self. The practice encapsulated in this verse is a classic Vedantic approach to spiritual awakening and liberation.
