Commentary (टीका)
This verse emphasizes the path of liberation as laid out in the Vedic scriptures, highlighting the importance of key components: faith (*śraddhā*), devotion (*bhakti*), meditation (*dhyāna*), and yoga practices (*yogān*). These elements cultivate a spiritual seeker’s journey towards mokṣa, liberation from the constraints formed by ignorance (*avidyā*), leading ultimately to freedom from the illusory bondage of the physical body. By abiding in these virtues, the aspirant transcends ignorance and realizes true liberation. This illustrates the profound interconnectedness between spiritual practices and liberation as outlined in Vedantic philosophy.
