Commentary (टीका)
This verse uses the metaphor of an arrow to illustrate focus and unstoppable momentum. Once the 'bāṇa' (arrow) is 'vinirmukta' (released) with the determination and focus of a 'vyāghra' (tiger), it does not 'tiṣṭhati' (stay) amidst distractions like 'gomatau' (in the presence of grass). It instead 'chinatyeva' (cuts) its 'lakṣya' (target) with great 'vega' (speed) and 'nirbharam' (force). This emphasizes that when one acts with resolve and focus, minor distractions do not deter them, and the target is achieved decisively.
