Translation (अनुवाद)
Just as the one sky, unobstructed by multiple adjuncts such as pots, dishes, and needles, does not become diverse, so is the supreme self, eternally free and pure, one without a second.

Commentary (टीका)
The sloka beautifully draws a parallel between the limitless sky and the supreme self. It demonstrates the concept of *upādhi* (adjuncts) and how they do not truly alter the intrinsic nature of the self, similar to how various containers do not change the nature of the sky. The verse emphasizes the idea of *ekam* (one) and *vimukti* (liberation), suggesting that despite the numerous shapes and forms we perceive, the essence or the self remains pure and untainted. This aligns with Vedantic teachings, where the self is seen as eternally free and untouched by worldly diversity.
