Commentary (टीका)

This verse delves deep into the concept of brahman and its distinction from the mundane. It emphasizes the ultimate non-dual nature of reality (paramadvitīyam) that dwelling within the cave of buddhi does not require retreating into the physical confines of the body. The guha metaphor describes the inner sanctum of understanding where one recognizes and embodies this ultimate truth. The one who resides in this state transcends the limitations imposed by physicality, emphasizing liberation from reincarnation or physical attachment. The philosophical essence is that realization of the brahman as a distinct and inherent reality leads to liberation (moksha).
