Commentary (टीका)
This verse underscores the non-dualistic nature of brahman as declared by the śruti or Vedic scriptures. The emphasis is on the inherent absence of duality within brahman, and a reminder that any appearances of duality are mere superimpositions, to be negated. Such understanding must be established through śruti-pramāṇa, or authoritative scriptural evidence. This directive signifies that liberation or spiritual progress mandates the dissolution of erroneous perceived dualities by solidifying one's understanding of the ultimate singularity of brahman.
