Sloka 172

Sloka (श्लोक)

वायुनानीयते मेधः पुनस्तेनैव नीयते ।
मनसा कल्प्यते बन्धो मोक्षस्तेनैव कल्प्यते ॥ १७२ ॥

वायुन आनीयते मेधः पुनः तेन एव नीयते मनसा कल्प्यते बन्धः मोक्षः तेन एव कल्प्यते

Transliteration (लिप्यांतरण)

vāyunā nīyate medhaḥ punas tena eva nīyate | manasā kalpyate bandhaḥ mokṣas tena eva kalpyate || 172 ||

Translation (अनुवाद)

Just as clouds are brought by the wind and dispersed by it again, bondage is imagined by the mind, and liberation is imagined by the same.
