Brahman and the universe are one and non-different

Summary (in English)

The slokas reflect fundamental Advaita Vedanta teachings that illustrate the concept of non-duality (advaita) and how duality (dvaita) is merely an illusion (māyā). The teachings emphasize that in ultimate reality, non-duality prevails, as declared by the scriptures (śruti), and this truth is directly experienced in the state of deep sleep (suṣupti), where the illusion of separation ceases. Using the rope-snake analogy, the slokas describe how our misconceptions sustain illusions, though the true underlying reality is singular (ananyatva). This understanding urges seekers to transcend illusions and realize the inherent oneness in all existence.
