The fruit of Self-realization

Summary (in English)

This section delineates the path and the reward of self-realization, as proclaimed in various slokas. The first sloka (471) portrays great ascetics who, devoid of desires and pleasures, find peace and control through their disciplined nature, ultimately achieving supreme bliss via self-realization. The next sloka (472) invites the seeker to contemplate the supreme truth of the self, inherent as the essence of bliss, and encourages dispelling mental delusions to attain liberation and fulfillment. In the final sloka (473), the necessity of unwavering concentration and clear insight for perceiving the truth of the self is highlighted. It is only through such focus and clarity that one securely grasps lasting realization without doubt, encapsulating key Vedantic teachings for achieving mokṣa (liberation).
