Sloka (श्लोक)

एतन्मे संशयं कृष्ण छेत्तुमर्हस्यशेषतः।
त्वदन्यः संशयस्यास्य छेत्ता न ह्युपपद्यते।।6.39।।

पदच्छेद / Padaccheda

एतत् मे संशयम् कृष्ण छेत्तुम् अर्हसि अशेषतः। त्वत् अन्यः संशयस्य अस्य छेत्ता न हि उपपद्यते।।

Transliteration (लिप्यांतरण)

etat me saṁśayam kṛṣṇa chettum arhasi aśeṣataḥ। tvadanayaḥ saṁśayasya asya chettā na hy upapadyate।।

Translation (अनुवाद)

O Kṛṣṇa (O Krishna), you (tvam) alone are qualified (arhasi) to completely dispel (chettum) this doubt (saṁśayam) of mine (me). No one else (anyaḥ) other than you (tvad) is fit to be (na hi upapadyate) the dispeller (chettā) of this doubt (asya saṁśayasya).

Commentary (टीका)

In this sloka, Arjuna is expressing his doubts and his inability to find anyone other than Krishna to resolve these doubts completely. He acknowledges Krishna as the all-knowing and thus the most qualified person to dispel his uncertainties. Arjuna emphasizes that, while learned individuals or other wise beings may possess knowledge, only Krishna's omniscience provides the ultimate resolution to his confusion.
