Sloka (श्लोक)

प्रशान्तात्मा विगतभीर्ब्रह्मचारिव्रते स्थितः।
मनः संयम्य मच्चित्तो युक्त आसीत मत्परः।।6.14।।

Transliteration (लिप्यांतरण)

praśāntātmā vigatabhīrbrahmacārivrata sthitaḥ। manaḥ saṃyamya maccitto yukta āsīta matparaḥ।।6.14।।

Translation (अनुवाद)

The spiritual aspirant should be serene-minded (praśāntātmā), fearless (vigatabhīḥ), firm in the vow of celibacy (brahmacārivrata sthitaḥ). Controlling the mind (manaḥ saṃyamya), focusing on me (maccittaḥ), and steady in concentration (yuktaḥ), one should sit, making me the supreme goal (matparaḥ).
