Translation (अनुवाद)
The state (sthāna) which is reached by the *Sāṅkhyas* (by the path of knowledge) is also reached by the *Yogis* (karma-yogis, by the path of action). He truly sees, who sees that *Sāṅkhya* (knowledge) and *Yoga* (action) are one in their result.

The central theme of the sloka stresses the unity of the paths of knowledge (*Sāṅkhya*) and action (*Yoga/Karma Yoga*) as equal means to attain the state of liberation (*moksha* or *kaivalya*). The Sāṅkhyas reach this state through *śravaṇa* (hearing), *manana* (reflection), and *nididhyāsana* (meditation on Vedantic texts). Karma Yogis reach the same state by performing selfless actions, offering them to the Lord, and purifying their hearts, which leads to spontaneous self-realization. The insight here is that the ultimate goal is the realization of the Self, and both paths, in the end, lead to the same realization, which is that of non-duality, or recognition of the unity of existence, hence neither is superior or inferior.
