vidyā-vinaya-sampanne brāhmaṇe gavi hastini śuni ca eva śvapāke ca paṇḍitāḥ samadarśinaḥ
Translation (अनुवाद)
Sages see equally (samadarśinaḥ) a brāhmaṇa endowed with knowledge (vidyā) and humility (vinaya), a cow (gavi), an elephant (hastini), a dog (śuni), and an outcaste (śvapāka), exhibiting equal vision irrespective of social or living circumstances.
